Hi!

I don't think Eclipse is responsible for resolution. In fact, you just said
the resolution was the same (1280x1024) in both OS!
What *exactly* is your problem? Are the fonts too small? Anti-Aliasing
problems? What Eclipse version are you using (motif, gtk) on linux? Are you
running Gnome, KDE, ...?
If your problem _really_ is resolution, you would probably find more help in
your favourite linux ng.
