[news.eclipse.newcomer] Problem installing CDT

Hi,

I'm new to Eclipse. I have installed the IDE and tried to install CDT thru 
Update Manager (Help menu). Everything worked fine but I cannot see the 
C/C++ project type in File-New-Project menu even after restarting the IDE. 
Any suggestions?
