[news.eclipse.newcomer] Mousewheel "on speed" and too small dialog windows in 3.1rc1

Cheers!

Currently I'm using the Eclipse 3.1rc1 GTK2 build on a Linux system with KDE 3.2. The trouble is, when I want to use the mouse wheel in whatever editor (JDT/CDT) the file is scrolled by almost half a page. The system setting of how many lines to scroll doesn't change anything, however it is set there, Eclipse will jump exactly 24 lines. This doesn't make the wheel very useful, as I have to use the cursor keys everytime for accurate scrolling. Any ideas?

The second one is (and was already stated beyond, see "Backgroundcolor of editor pane") that a lot of the preferences dialogs aren't scaled correctly. Many of the items at the bottom of a dialog window get hidden behind the buttons, because the windows isn't resized and one has to guess if there might be more to see, which means to resize the window everytime by hand (or mouse, whatever you like better ;-)

Chances for a bug report? Anyone having the same problems, or is it just me?

Have a good night,
Philipp
