[news.eclipse.newcomer] Tasks View Not Working (?)

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded to Eclipse version 3.0.1 from 2 something. I'm 
running an "ordinary" java project.
I was very happy the way the tasks view worked in my previous installation - 
but now it is just empty! I have lots of TODO in my comments and not even if 
I have compile issues they will show. I have checked the filter and some 
other stuff but I can't figure whats wrong...

Also, I have auto-compilation turned on, and in my previous installation I 
got this red markers in the package explorer where I could see which files 
did not compile, and even if some files had unnecessary imports - this is 
gone too :-(

Does anyone have a clue whats wrong?
Any suggestion is welcome.
