I don't recall him being pained when he did it either, nor complaining about UML being too related to EMF, whatever that means.

You will have to either use Ecore or to develop it by yourself.

Those are just two of many choices.

You can also ask the m2m newsgroup if this feature is planned in the ATL new coming options.
