Vlad,
Comments below.
It requires no investment. There's a simple wizard for each step. It would take all of five minutes.Hi Ankit,
Converting UML to Ecore then to XSD is a nice solution but it could require a large time investment.
We currently have free research engineers at Omondo who can convert directly UML to XSD.That's all nice to propose with the assumption that the mapping is obvious. But then, if it's indeed obvious, without a doubt UML -> Ecore -> XSD already implements it.
This is no more than 2-3 months projects for one person. Daily integration cost is only $250For goodness sake, this is an Eclipse newsgroup, not an Omondo consulting service.
Please let me know if you are interested to pay daily cost integration for such a mapping integration.I you must, please send notes like this privately to your targets rather than publicly on this newsgroup. No doubt there are a large number of people/companies who could and would solve problems like this one for clients for a fee. E.g., Kenn, itemis, and Obeo, just to name a few. It just seems in poor taste turn a technical newsgroup into a solicitation vehicle.
I see that the Omondo website claims that Omondo is an Eclipse Foundation Member, but in actual fact, Omondo has not paid its membership dues in years. As such, the claim to be a member seems deceptive at best. Why should anyone have confidence in those inclined to make false claims? My email is below. Thanks,
