Please don't cross post to three different newsgroups as you've just 
done.  

There's already support for converting UML to Ecore and for converting 
Ecore to XSD, but that's pretty indirect.   The latter might well be a 
good example to look at for what you're trying to do.  Nothing exists to 
support it directly.
