Hi there (again :-) ),
Hi Jean-Marie,
Is there some project of open courseware about
metamodel driven reverse engineering?
Yes, the Eclipse/GMT Open Model CourseWare (OMCW) component (see
http://www.eclipse.org/gmt/omcw/) aims at providing training and
teaching material related to MDE topics.
The already provided material is divided into several chapters covering
different aspects of MDE.
Of course, we may add a new one concerning Model-Driven Reverse Engineering!
I've been teaching reverse engineering in the
last 10 years, here at the unversity of grenoble, and
at at some other places as well. In fact, all these
courses were oriented around the concept of metamodels,
because it is one of the root of this discipline.
This year again, the course is opening and I have
60h on model driven engineering and transformation
techniques (oct-dec), then 60h on reverse engineering MDE
& evolution (jan-apr).
I'm planning to produce slides, exercices, etc and put
everything on the web as usual. Is there some project
around for effective courseware on MDE & Reverse?
Are they people interested in sharing material ?
We are very interesting in sharing material using the OMCW component.
In particular I plan to work various alternatives of
the database scenarios (see previous post) and
illustrate each of them.
If someone outthere is interested somehow, just let
me know.
May the fun be with all of you
Jean-marie
