Hi Marcos, Ok excellent thanks for that. What I did was I put the s.refImmediateComposite().oclIsTypeOf(ATL!MatchedRule) check on the from part of the OutPattern to stop the rule executing for called rules. I'm not concerned about tracing these rules for the reasons you already outlined. Thanks again, Ronan
