[news.eclipse.modeling.gmt.amw] Re: AMW is now compatible with Eclipse 3.3 and the latest versions of ATL and AM3

Hi Marcos,

In understand and agree that there are some real changes between the two EMF versions but from a technical point of view, it is possible to have versions of tools that are compatible with the two EMF versions. Basically we managed that achieve that with all our tools.

Is there any particular technical reason that might definitely prevent from having a compatible version with EMF 2.2 and EMF 2.3 or would it be more a question of time to do it you think ?

Cheers
Stephane

Hi,

you should use the latest version of AMW with Eclipse 3.3 (and EMF 2.3), and the previous releases with Eclipse 3.2 (EMF 2.2). This is due to some changes in the way models are handled in EMF 2.3.

Regards,

Marcos.
