For now you have to extens DiagramGenModelTransformer class. In future
we will use .qvto transformation script for it.

is this problem now solved in Galileo? As I understand, you now use
there real model transformations with QVTO, don't you?
Does this anyhow affect the merging of a customized gmfgen model and a
mapping model?
I still have the problem that I have a customized gmfgen and have to
reapply the transformation of the mapping model to the gmfgen. This
usually destroys most of my customizations and I have to do them again...
