[news.eclipse.modeling.gmf] Getting M3 error, elements don't appear on C

Hi,

I'm using a slightly older version of the M3 and decided to use the most 
updated and final version.

I downloaded all the zip files as described at:

http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/gmf/downloads/drops/S-2.0M3-200611201300/index.php

copied these into eclipse folder and tried to build a simple version of my 
model that should have worked.

The problem that I encountered was that when I opened the editior and 
tried to place nodes and edges the didn't appear on the canvas. When I 
placed and Note (which did appear) on the canvas and then deleted it the 
nodes and edges suddenly appeared. Has anyone had similar problems?

Also, I was wondering if M4 was alright to use? On the download site:

there is an by the status of the download, what does this mean? Would I 
still be able to use this for development?
