[news.eclipse.modeling.amalgam] difficulty installing new features - unp

Hi

I was trying to install new features (uml2tools) however I always get
plugin not found errors. Having downloaded uml2tools to a local folder
I notice the plugin jars are stored as *.pack.gzip format. If I 
unpack200 them I get further but get checksum errors. Is amalgam
designed to prevent additions or am I doing something silly.

I did google this problem, I notice it was an eclipse  problem a couple
of years back but I assume it has been resolved by now?
