If I'm thinking of the right commercial product you're referring to, and I

Well, the commercial tool provided the same capabilities, though hidden by
default.

Not really. Aside from the wizard provided by GMF, there is nothing more
related to this in Amalgam.

Sorry, that's another commercial-only feature. You'll need to manually
regenerate the gmfgen from the gmfmap when you make changes.

Sorry again, the concept of a figure gallery is also commercial-only.
Really, it's just a fancy gmfgraph editor.
