Senior Developer - Design Patterns, Object Oriented Methodologies, UML, 
N-Tiered, M-Layered Architectures, Extreme Programming  
We are seeking a Senior Developer to architect, design, develop, test, 
deploy, operate, and scale registration/subscription applications that are 
high-performance technical solution at the network application and 
database level. 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
o	Ten years plus of application development and architecture experience. 
Experience developing Web applications with Java, J2EE, JSPs, Servlets, 
Enterprise Java Beans, and JDBC.
o	Recent experience developing Web applications with Jakarta Struts 1.1 
and tiles, ANT, and Log4J.
o	Working knowledge with Macromedia Flash and Flex technologies.
o	Experience with IBM Websphere Application Developer (WSAD 5.0 or higher).
o	Familiar with Porlet based applications and related development 
environments compliant with Sun JSR 168. 
o	Strong database design, data modeling and administration experience with 
DB2, or Oracle, or MySQL, or SQL Server.
o	Implemented J2EE applications using Object Oriented Analysis and Design 
with  UML and RUP.
-	Capable of developing Web based applications using Java Server Faces 
(JSF).
-	Have implemented enterprise solutions using Service Oriented 
Architecture, Web Services technologies (UDDI, SOAP, and WSDL) and Message 
technologies such as JMS or IBM MQ Series.
-	Strong knowledge of XML and its related technologies and standards, XSL, 
XPATH, AJAX, XML Signature, and XML Encryption.
-	Strong knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, DOM
-	Strong knowledge of HTTP, SSL, and SMTP.
-	Extensive experience with developing business use cases and System 
Development Life Cycle.
-	Knowledge and expertise on the Windows LAN environment, UNIX, Linux in 
regard to application delivery.
-	Experience designing and building distributed, enterprise solutions.
	Enterprise frameworks: J2EE (JNDI, JMX, JCA, JTA, JAAS), and .NET 
	Distributed Object System: RMI and .NET Remoting
	Application and integration platform: SAP NetWeaver, and 
webMethods.
-	Depth of knowledge with a variety of application development tools, Open 
Source technologies, and products in ERP, CRM, SCM, and so on.

SOFT SKILLS:
o	Experience in insurance industry or financial services.
o	Extensive problem solving and client-facing skills.
o	Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
-	Technical and Business certifications
-	Must be able to work comfortably with both technical staff and business 
and non-technical individuals. 
-	Effective time management: Must be able to multitask effectively and be 
a quick learner. 
-	Must be able to organize own work and the work of other technical staff.
-	Must be able to mentor junior staff members.
