Hi,
I am looking for an excellent Java/Eclipse RCP developer to finish an
application that I personally started earlier this year. I am NOT a
company and I have a very small budget for this project, thus I am
looking for a developer that works on his own, and remotely from
anywhere in the world. Timezone may be an issue as direct communications
such as messenger or skype will be required once in a while. I am in
eastern Canada (UTC -5:00). I will be available for chatting generally
between 8pm until 11pm, or between 6am and 7am, my time.
I am not looking for an overall project bid. What I want is a monthly
fee for a full-time developer. Initial contract will be for one month.
If all goes well, a few more months will be added (3-4) and the
relationship may continue for the long term.
Price matters. I am not a company. I am a full-time employee of another
company that does not find the time to complete his pet-project.
If you are interested, I will want to see some of the work you have done
before. High quality of design and code, and frequent (daily) deliveries
of working code will be crucial.

- Eclipse 3.1 RCP, with plugins
- XML-RPC or weblog APIs (wordpress)
- Imaging libraries (javax.imageio)
- GPS data
- Web-based APIs such as Google Maps
