The Senior Developer is a hands-on technologist to architect, design,
engineer, develop, test, deploy, operate, and scale applications that are
high-performance technical solution at the network application and
database level. The candidate must have a Java/2EE developer background
that shows experience in designing and developing complex solutions.
Experience is required on several mission critical large-scale
implementations with high performance characteristics.
Qualifications desired:
? Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent educational
qualification
? Minimum 10 years software development experience, including core
enterprise business applications
? In-depth knowledge of Java programming language and J2EE architecture.
? In-depth knowledge of C/C++ programming language and experience
programming real time applications.
? Detailed knowledge of SQL, including complex multi-table queries
? Understanding of logical database design and physical database structures
? Advanced knowledge of key standard development tools: WSAD/Eclipse,
? Rational modeling tool
? Working knowledge of other standard development tools: JProbe Suite, CVS
? Proficiency with desktop applications
? Knowledge of analysis, design and implementation disciplines in RUP and
of overall iterative software development lifecycle
? Demonstrable understanding of OO software design
? Excellent oral and written communication skills ? able to present
designs,
and facilitate design discussions
? Location: downtown San Francisco
? Duration: 7 months + contract with possible extension
? Start date: Monday August 1st
