Job Title:Programmer III
Job Number: I-139
Location: West Des Moines, Iowa


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for serving as a technical consultant for 
projects of a diverse scope. The incumbent will perform analysis, 
design, implementation and testing related to software development. 
Perform leadership responsibilities to other programming staff. Review, 
learn and suggest new technologies for use in software products.


Requirements:

- Four year degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 
equivalent training and/or experience
- 3-5 years experience in application development
- Expert knowledge of the Java programming language
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience using OOP/OOD techniques 
including design patterns and posses good analysis skills.
- Experience with XML schemas and parsers.

Preferred Skills:

- Eclipse RCP and plug-in development
- Experience developing rich client applications using SWING/SWT
- Product Development
- Spring or other XML based frameworks
- Experience with Ant, Maven, Installshield or other build technologies
- Exposure to open source technologies

Additional Comments:

Some on call duty may be required.
