[news.eclipse.helpwanted] Re: Help wanted for Eclipse RCP applications - Open Source, No Pay!
|
Hi there,
thanks for replying.
We've developed IMS tools at http://www.reload.ac.uk. These tools are used
all over the world and have become the standard for IMS Content Packaging
and Metadata. I'm now working on an Eclipse 3.1 RCP version of an IMS
Learning Design Editor. What I need help mainly with is the following:
1. Ensuring the application runs OK on Linux and Apple Mac, particularly
the Browser Widget.
2. Help with providing an IMS/IEEE Metadata Editor for the Learning Design
Editor - I could do it, but I don't have the time to do it all.
3. Beta testing.
The code is Open source under an MIT-style licence. CVS repository access
is hosted at SourceForge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/x4l-reload/
Anonymous CVS access can be achieved with the following cvs command:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvsroot/x4l-reload login
Or by using Eclipse's CVS:
Connection type: pserver
User: anonymous
Password: (not used)
Host: cvs.sourceforge.net
Repository Path: /cvsroot/x4l-reload
If you're interested why not checkout the following CVS modules from the
repository, compile and run the code:
org.jdom (JDOM library)
uk.ac.reload.diva (Utils library)
uk.ac.reload.jdom (JDOM library)
uk.ac.reload.straker (the main application)
You'll need at least Eclipse 3.1 M5a to run it.
Many thanks!
Phil
