Renaming the group will resolve the confusion.
English is not a primary language for many developers using this newsgroup. "helpwanted" can be easily confused with technical assistance.

Hello,

just an idea to make admins live easier.
What do you think about using an email filter which matches on defined

keywords like "Job Offer:" or something else?

Those emails that does not match the filter expressions should result in an

autoreply with the

POSTING GUIDELINES and the accepted keywords.

Greetings

Before posting a message to eclipse.helpwanted, please ensure that the topic of your message is as follows:

"Looking for developers who know the Eclipse environment? Looking for an employment where your Eclipse expertise can be an asset? Use this group to post "help wanted" ads where Eclipse plays an important role".

Any requests for Eclipse-related help should be posted to eclipse.newcomer, eclipse.platform or in the specific project's newsgroup.

Thank you for your cooperation.

It's a shame for the naming of this group. Should have been the undeclared defacto name of sayyyyyy "eclipse.JOBS", but no. We need to reinvent the wheel and use some new nomenclature like "Eclipse.HELPWANTED".

Not to flame but what WISE-IN-HIMMER though up that group name. Somebody not use to newsgroup names? I mean newsgroups are not new and have been around for a long time.
