[News.eclipse.foundation] developing plugin for Clone Digger during Google Summer of Code

Hello.

I am the GSoC mentor of the Clone Digger project, the tool for finding duplicate code in programs on the abstract syntax tree level(http://clonedigger.sourceforge.net).

There is one student willing to develop the Eclipse plug-in during Google Summer of Code.

The key point is that it is easy to add the support of new languages to this tool, I plan to add Java, C, PHP, etc.. Thus, it's better to take this proposal out of the PSF umbrella, because it is not fully Python-specific.

Whom should I consult about hosting this project under the Eclipse Foundation umbrella? There were several good reviews from the Python programmers, I think that a lot of Java programmers, C programmers, PHP programmers will be grateful for developing this plug-in.

The student is really talented, and she has some experience in developing Eclipse plugins.
