Alexander,

It's best to ask on the platform or newcomer newsgroup since this 
newsgroup is to discuss the operations of the Eclipse foundation itself, 
not to ask technical questions.  Perhaps you could try using the -data 
<workspace> command line option to specify a different workspace...
