[News.eclipse.foundation] Supress compilation and errors for large fiels

Is there any way I can supress the background compilation of certain
files? I have a large file generated from a flex file (the java class is
3.5 Mb!). All classes that use this file are very slow to load and edit.

Thanks in advance. I use Eclipse 3.1.
