The NVIDIA Architecture group is looking for top programmers that are
black-belts in Linux programming development environments. A key part of
NVIDIA?s strength is our proprietary internal environments and tools for
chip development and we are looking for help in architecting the next
generation of our windows development environment. This will include but
is not limited to creating the Linux development environments in which we
efficiently build and run very large chip simulations on farms of
thousands of machines. This task involves designing the compute
infrastructure to allow very large scale distributed, cross-platform runs
of mission critical proprietary applications, creating or integrating
integrated development and debugging environments (such as Eclipse),
implementing software engineering methodologies to improve code quality,
creating and driving quality build and release processes, and driving the
performance improvement of these applications. We are continuously
pushing the envelope and needing the next generation of development
environment to enable the next generation of chips. In this position, you
will, work closely with other project members and users to specify
systems, create schedules, and manage ongoing feedback and enhancement
releases. You will be creating environments that are stable and easy to
use by hundreds of engineers worldwide. You will learn and greatly
improve the daily workflows of the world?s top chip modelers and designers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert in Linux development programming tools, experience with Eclipse
required
- Strong object-oriented programming background: Java required, C++ an
additional plus
- Strong scripting skills ? Perl preferred
- Strong build process experience with Make and related tools
- MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science with at least 3 years of
experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility/adaptability for working in a dynamic environment with
different frameworks and requirements
