This exciting new technology will be a change agent for how developers, QA teams, operations teams and application support bring highest quality to their software, quickly, easily and all the time, across the application lifecycle.

Job Description:

You must have prior experience managing the full lifecycle of a software product from a technical, and project management perspective. You must have incredible attention to detail, be an excellent communicator -- both orally and written -- and thrive in a fast paced environment. This is a cross-functional role that requires a blend of strong commercial and technical skills. The Product Manager will report to the Sr. VP, Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities
* Producing/collating new ideas and product requirements from internal users, prospects, customers, domain experts, technology visionaries, market experts, competing products, etc.
* Planning, architecting and progressing the day-to-day development.
* Monitoring industry and competitive trends.
* Creating Product Requirements Documents with detailed feature/functionality specifications.
* Managing communication with the engineering and marketing teams.
** Managing the Release Cycle of the product.

Candidate Requirements
Your application will be evaluated on:
* Your judgment and decision-making qualities. You must be able to pragmatically evaluate technical issues, commercial concerns and customer needs.
* Your ability to appreciate the higher-level business and strategic goals of the organization, and translate them into product features.
* Your ability to communicate effectively with individuals, teams, customers and prospects.
* Your ability to manage the life cycle of the product
* Your problem-solving capabilities.
* Your ability to self-manage, and accurately prioritize your responsibilities.

We are looking for you if:
* 2-3 years Product Management experience
* You can demonstrate previous success in managing an enterprise application, especially in the areas of functional testing, application management, java application development based on prior experience with software ISVs such as Mercury, Wily, IBM Rational, IBM WebSphere, BMC, etc.
* You have a deep knowledge of application servers, JAVA concepts &
methodologies (JAVA programming a plus), operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, IDEs such as Eclipse, and the application lifecycle.
* Ideally you have also worked at a start-up and taken a brand new product to market.
* You have excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.
* You have excellent attention to detail.
* You are an effective person and a learner, excited about taking a great product to successful adoption in the market.
