I work with a small development team in Alpharetta, Georgia. Our
application provides workflow and process automation for telephone
companies. EMF is used to model and generate server side code which runs
on JBoss. On the UI side is a GEF based Rich Client Plugin used to
configure and monitor server side processing. We are currently using
straight JBoss and our own JET generated Resource extensions to manage our
persistence layer. We will likely be migrating to Hibernate this year.
We did pretty well last year, and are now looking to expand. In a perfect
world we would hire two people. One person with EMF knowledge; and in
particular some GEF experience. This person would help round out the
client, and "pretty-up" the UI side of the house. The other person would
have experience using/extending Eclipse to develop tools for server side
debugging, monitoring, and scripting.
The world is not perfect though, so if you are in the market and like
