[news.eclipse.dtp] reExecuteScript extension point...HELP!

Is there an reference implementation of the reExecuteScript extension point?

I'm lost and am trying seemingly random things.

I have implemented the extension point and its reExecute method is called with the OperationCommand parameter. I tried to use the org.eclipse.datatools.sqltools.internal.tabledataeditor.query.execute.QueryOutputHelper (it's internal but is exported by its plug-in) to reexecute the query. The query gets rerun but the processing of the result set does some SWT operation but isn't being run in the SWT thread. An exception is thrown and that's the end of that.

So, if anybody can point me to an implementation of this extension point that I can model mine after, I'd be very grateful.

Hi,

on two different machines i installed Eclipse 3.5 and tried to test the DTP. Connecting and Quering works fine. But when i try to open the "SQL Query Builder" nothing happens. No error, no Logentry, just nothing.

Build id: 1.7.0.v20090611-1239

Details: I connect to a Database, open a SQL Scrapbook, type a query and run it, everything works fine until now. Now I mark the query and right click and select "Edit in SQL Query Builder..." in the contextmenu.

I would expect a new tab with the Query Builder, but nothing happens.

Now I get the error "No repository found containing..." again, this seems to be happening on a weekly basis now. In this case it occurs when I try to install the C++ plugin for eclipse 3.4.2 on vista 64 or if I just try to update my current eclipse packages:

Earlier versions of DB2 for LUW, such as v8.2, are is still supported. The Connection Profile dialog only seems to know about v9.1, but you can tell it that your database is 9.1 and it should work OK. The problem in this case might be that the JDBC driver you are using is old enough that it doesn't match the version of Java the code was compiled with.

You can get new DB2 JDBC drivers by downloading DB2 Express-C (a free download) from http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2/express/download.html After installing it you can find the JDBC drivers in the /java directory. I think you need the db2jcc.jar and db2jcc_license_cu.jar. You can add the jar paths in the "Jar List" tab of the Driver Definition wizard for the connection profile.

I can actually connect if I use the Generic JDBC connection profile type but that gives me another issue, plus I can't get any information when my code accesses the connection profile because it's generic.

Am I doing something wrong? Are previous versions of DB2 not supported any more?

With an insert statement, the behavior is the same.
There is nothing in the error log.
What is wrong? What can I do to further diagnose the problem?
