The Target Management Project has posted the 1st release candidate of 
the Remote Systems Explorer, RSE:

RSE is now feature complete, including the Jakarta Commons Net library 
for FTP access. Coordinated release testing has started to find final 
bugs. If you are planning to use RSE 1.0 yourself, NOW is the right time 
to join the testing effort - since the window for making fixes before 
the release is getting smaller.

Although the official coordinated testing has started already, you can 
still join if you want. See detailed instructions at
