Hello,

Now that eRCP 1.2 is out the door, it is time to start considering the 
things we should work on for the next release. I'd like to hear from the 
community what you think is most important. One topic that has been around 
for a while is an eSWT gaming API. If eSWT is to be a viable upgrade path 
from MIDP, it probably needs to have gaming API similar to LCDUI. For 
example, sprites are something that game developers really like. The lack of 
these in eSWT could keep game developers on MIDP. So this is one topis I 
would like see addressed. The fact a gaming API may be small and mostly self 
contained, but enables a wealth of applications would make it ideal for the 
community to work on. Hint... hint...  Let's start a discussion on what API 
we might like to add and whether these should be part of Mobile Extensions 
or completely independent.
