[news.eclipse.commercial] New BIRT Exchange Community Site

On Monday, we officially launched a new community site called BIRT Exchange that is for developers using BIRT. The site allows you to share report designs and code with each other and has some good examples already loaded. There are forums organized around solutions so that questions in each forum are from people in similar stages of their reporting projects. You'll also find documentation, downloads, a wiki, information on BIRT training if you need it and information on Actuate's commercial products that extend BIRT.

The official message is pasted below, or you can just go check out the site yourself.

By the way, I'm one of the bloggers on that site so feel free to leave a comment on one of my posts on what you think about BIRT Exchange.

Enables developers to easily share, comment on, rate and quickly pinpoint the information they need - technical articles and tips, report designs, even code samples - using simple keyword search combined with a powerful filtering and a community rating system. Resources are grouped by interest area - such as designing and deploying reports, enabling interactive end-user reporting - and can be sorted by rating, author, date, etc.
