Red Lizard Software announces the availability of innovative de-bugging
software that can slash development time and radically improve software
quality.

Goanna? software is a fast, scalable and precise static code analysis
solution that detects bugs and other software vulnerabilities
automatically at development time, saving money and helping keep product
launch timetables on track.

Goanna debugging and code-testing software is an Eclipse plug-in and is
now available online for a 30-day FREE trial from Red Lizard Software
www.redlizards.com .

A sophisticated spell-checker for software, Goanna detects issues that can
lead to crashes, memory leaks or security vulnerabilities that are hard to
find using traditional testing methods.

Goanna is the implementation of four years? scientific research at NICTA
(National ICT Australia www.nicta.com.au ) and is the first static code
analysis solution based on model checking technology to detect bugs during
software development.

It is well-suited to C/C++ software developers, particularly in embedded
systems industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace,
telecoms/networks and defense.
the Eclipse IDE (Integrated Development Environment) version 3.4. It
supports gcc or gcc-based compilers up to version 4.4. A Microsoft Visual
Studio plug-in is scheduled for release in July 2009.

Why Goanna? Because it blends in with its environment and eats bugs.

About Red Lizard Software www.redlizards.com

Red Lizard Software is the first company to combine the technologies of
static analysis and model checking to create a unique static analysis

I have developed a group of plugins that allow Eclipse IDE
users/developers to communicate from IDE to IDE. The plugin group is
unique in that no third party web sites are required for chats, or
registrations. Load the plugins and you are up and ready to communicate.
They automatically get through firewalls.

Currently, you can keyboard chat, voice chat (similar to Skype), file
transfers of any kind including executables, send and play mp3 and audio
files, send and play video files, conference keyboard chat, and link
browsers so one party can navigate. All communications are done from PC to
PC directly.

These plugins are built with the JXTA peer to peer architecture. The web
site for more information is: http://www.clique5.net. Please look at the
screen shots. There is also a standalone plugin using RCP for those who do
not already have an Eclipse IDE.

I need some sophisticated testers whom I will give free copies of Clique5
to. I also need some feedback on how I might turn in some of the software
to the open source community, and still be able to commercially exploit
the product. I'm not sure how to go about this, so suggestions are
welcome. Please contact me directly for information or possible strategic
partnerships.

Your software was designed and implemented to run on a specific version
of the Eclipse runtimes, but after a year that release is no longer
actively supported by the Eclipse community. Migrating to the latest
supported version of Eclipse can be time consuming, costly or even
risky, depending on your application.

Eclipse Maintenance from EclipseSource offers dependable ongoing support
for the platform you are using, and makes it possible to remain on an
older version of Eclipse and continue to maintain your software.

http://eclipsesource.com/en/services/maintenance/

Eclipse Maintenance Features

* We provide support, including patches and minor enhancements, for the
three most recent Eclipse releases. At the time of writing, this
includes Galileo, Ganymede and Europa.

* Customers receive a subscription to the EclipseSource maintenance
repository for their specific release and can also commission patches or
enhancements they require.

* Eclipse Maintenance includes coverage for the key runtime technologies
as well as other projects. You can purchase maintenance for the full
stack - including RCP, Equinox, RAP, ECF, p2, Zest and g-Eclipse - or
for individual projects.

Eclipse Maintenance gives you control of migration path by allowing you
to remain supported on your current version of Eclipse long after
community support for that release has expired.

Extending Support for Your Customers

If your customers are using software that you developed based on an
Eclipse platform, they are even more likely to require deployment on
versions of Eclipse that are no longer supported. Eclipse Maintenance
can help you address the support and maintenance requirements of these
customers.

Preserving the Path Forward

Just because you are using an older version of Eclipse now doesn’t mean
you won't eventually want to migrate. You need to ensure that the
changes you make to your current Eclipse release won't cut off migration
paths for the future. Because EclipseSource team members are directly
involved in ongoing Eclipse development, we can provide informed
maintenance decisions to ensure that your future migration path remains
open. We will help to manage the delta between how your code interacts
with legacy Eclipse releases and how it will need to interact with
future versions.

Contact us for more information on how Eclipse Maintenance can help you
to extend your platform's life and maximize your current software
investment.
decompilation and unauthorized modification of commercial Eclipse RCP
applications

or read the official press-release below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia, June 23, 2009 -- IP theft, code tampering and data
security breaches may become less of a concern to vendors of commercial
Java applications based on the Eclipse Rich Client Platform since today.
Excelsior LLC has just announced the general availability of Excelsior JET
6.5, a compliant Java SE 6 implementation enhanced with an ahead-of-time
compiler. The Enterprise Edition of Excelsior JET enables developers to
fully precompile their Eclipse RCP applications to native code and
distribute them without the original class files, keeping the Java
decompilers at bay.

"Excelsior JET represents the best, and possibly the only available,
solution capable to protect not only Eclipse RCP and OSGi based
applications, but also those that rely on the modeling technologies
available in the Eclipse platform," said Victor Roldan Betancort, software
developer and researcher for Open Canarias S.L.

The key innovation of Excelsior's technology is that it supports the core
of the Eclipse Runtime (Equinox OSGi) at the JVM level. As a result, the
code and data protection mechanisms previously implemented in the
Excelsior JVM are now enabled for Eclipse RCP applications as well.

"We have been testing Excelsior JET 6.5 from its first beta versions and
it has revealed to be perfectly working with such a complex RCP
application as EasyMonitoring," said Baptiste Gendron, President of Global
Vision Systems. "We highly recommend to use the product for deploying RCP
application in a secure and easy way."

Excelsior JET not only creates native code executables resistant to
reverse engineering, but also provides the most secure environment for
running Eclipse RCP applications. The environment blocks tampering with
OSGi bundles and injecting unauthorized code via Java classloading hooks
by protecting the Eclipse Runtime itself.

"Congratulations to Excelsior on the new release of their JET 6.5," said
Mike Milinkovich, Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation. "Their
support for Eclipse RCP and Equinox is a great example of a commercial
ecosystem developing around the Eclipse runtime technologies."

Compatibility and System Requirements

Excelsior JET 6.5 supports Java SE 6 and J2SE 5.0 on Microsoft Windows and
Linux operating systems running on 32-bit Intel x86 and compatible
hardware.

Equinox OSGi runtime versions 3.1 through 3.4 are supported. Support for
version 3.5 (Galileo) is in the works and will be included in a
maintenance update.

Full pricing and licensing information is available online at
http://www.excelsior-usa.com/store/jet.html.

Excelsior LLC provides advanced Java-compatible solutions and software
development services with particular focus on optimizing compilers,
high-performance runtime environments and the Java technology. Excelsior
is a Java Authorized Licensee and a Solutions Member of the Eclipse
Foundation. To learn more about Excelsior, visit

Visual Disassembler for the NEC © uPD78K0 is an interactive multi-pass
symbolic disassembler for the uPD78K0 microprocessor family. The user
simply opens an Intel hex file and the file is disassembled and placed
in a text view. The user does not edit the text directly. Comments and
program labels are added by address through dialog boxes. Each entry
shows an immediate result in the text view. Program labels are resolved
throughout the entire file. Intermediate work can be saved and resumed
later. Upon completion of the disassembly the file can be saved as an
assembly listing text file. The assembly listing can be easily edited to
create an assembler source file. The assembler source is tailored to the
IAR Embedded Workbench 78K tool set. The assembler source file may
require editing due to the requirements of the assembler.

Features
* Multi-pass disassembly
* Part selection
resolves memory space, registers, and ISR vectors
* Memory space control
Allows definition of data and code areas in the memory space
