is it possible to use birt reports as print preview in desktop
applications without the use of a server background environment?
If so, can you give me some information how to do it or where i can find
info about such a configuration?
As far as i know, i can't use the report viewer. It needs a Server to
work. I read about a customized report designer which uses a embedded Birt
report engine for previewing report. Thats sounds promissing but i don't
know if this would fit the needs of a preview like display.
By the way would it be more common to use Birt on server-based
environments like jboss application server.
