The BIRT 2.3.1 has been released. The latest release version is 20080922. Do 
you mean you reproduce the problem in that version?

Or are you using the latest nightly build, based on BIRT 2.3.2?

Anyway, if that problem is reproducible I think you can reopen the bug w/ 
the BIRT version you used to reproduce the problem.
