Is the large project on the classpath of the small project? It could be that VE is bulding beaninfo for the large project as well.

If you click ont the progress, it should give you some more information of what
the Setup job is doing.

yes, a task "Setup Visual Editor" is displayed, but it doesn't move...

.. try to clear all of VE's caches by open a VE editor (to start the VE plugins),
and than do a project clean.

Note: there are *no* problems if I open the large project after while I working on the small project that use VE, it's only when I restart eclipse.
