[news.eclipse.tools.pdt] Re: [Announce] PDT 2.0.1 M200901080831 is available

I am having the same problem that rapkasta cited.

but I download the M200901080831 fix, SDK (Runtime, Source), Runtime and Automated Tests, unziped the files in plugins/features folders, but the problem persists.

I am doing something wrong ? How can I resolve this ?

thanks

If you look at the PDT homepage (http://www.eclipse.org/pdt/) you should see:

26th of June, 2009  	- PDT 2.1 Release
29th of December, 2008 	- PDT 2.0 Release

The project plan is for 2.0; a 2.1 plan has not yet been drafted as the 2.1 cycle only started this week.

And yes, 2.1.0 WILL supercede 2.0.0, if you also plan to move up from Eclipse 3.4 to 3.5.

That should have read BIG numbers, not bug numbers.

Generally, bug numbers == newer.

2.0.1 are maintenance fixes for 2.0.0, targeted for Eclipse 3.4.
2.1.0 is a work-in-progress, targeted for Eclipse 3.5 and to be
released at the end of June.

So, it depends on if you're using Eclipse 3.4.x or 3.5.x, really.

Cool, my problem is solved.
But can anybody tell what version is the lates (i don't understand
it): 2.0.1 OR 2.1.0 ?

I was also confused, i thought 2.1.0 supercedes 2.0, but it seems that i was wrong. You guys should update the project plan, it does not mention 2.1.* at all :)
