I am a new comer to eclipse, I installed it on my PC (Windows Vista Home
Premium) about a month ago and ran a few java test programs which I had
written previously and tested off the command line by prompt via "javac"
and "java" without any issues.
When I initially installed Eclipse, I was able to create a new project and
a new class without any problems at all... but now when I go into Eclipse,
the place where I previously was able to find the java class creation
wizard is gone!
I was under the impression that you had to right click on the project name
in the Project Explorer View and this would bring up a sub menu with all
the different types of things you could create under a Project. Now, the
class creation icon is no longer there, and when I go to the wizards,
there is nothing that resembles a link that will alow me to create a new
class!
Also, under Window | Open Perspective |... there is no "Java" option,
neither is there on under Window | Preferences.
I am hoping that this is due to me doing something quite silly, although I
have no idea what as I haven't gone anywhere near my Eclipse environment
in weeks, and I hope it's not somethign like my installation becoming
corrupt.
