[xtext-dev] 0.7.1, 0.7.2 and 0.8.0

Hi all,
*0.7.1*
tomorrow we're releasing the first bugfix release (0.7.1). It contains
a lot of nice fixes and I'm sure that we're able to improve
usability and accessibility with it. Thanks to all contributers.
The release will be published (or promoted) to the release update
sites at eclipse. In addition we will create a composite P2 repository
at itemis which points to those repositories and therefore makes
updating as easy as possible. Also Galileo+ will automatically know
about the update and of course we'll provide a distro at itemis.
*0.8.0 Planning*
On August 5th we (the committers) are having a face-to-face meeting in
Kiel at the itemis office. In that meeting we'll discuss and plan the
upcoming release plan. A list of ideas can be found in the wiki (http://wiki.eclipse.org/Xtext/planning_0.8.0
). Please add stuff to it but don't spread it, it is just brain
storming and lacks a lot of explanation. Users can as always file
wished enhancements in the bugzilla.
*0.7.2*
After the 0.7.1 bugfix release has been released we want to have
another bugfix release 0.7.2.
Its release date is *Friday, August 7th* (at least if noone has a
problem with that). Like for 0.7.2 we tag issues by flagging them
using the target milestone property in the bugzilla. Of course it is
*SR2* now.
*build and development infrastructure*
Starting next week Sebastian and Dennis will focus on creating and
cleaning up the build and development infrastructure.
So hopefully we'll have a nicer infrastructure for 0.8.0. We also
consider switching to SVN.
