Hi Larry,

You're correct WTP 3.7.1 builds are building from server tools master repository. I am going to switch that to R3_7_maintenance branch. Will let you know when there is a build ready.

I pushed the changes last night (Sunday 8/23) for this bug. I checked the latest status meeting page in the wiki and didn’t see that reviews were required yet. I may have needed to look elsewhere. Apologies if this was supposed to be reviewed first.

I wasn’t able to get the maven “verify” to work since it has been a while since I had set up development environment. I believe I did the “version bump” correctly and the Hudson builds last night seemed to do okay with one exception. The 3.7.1_maintenance build still appears to be building from “master” instead of “R3_7_maintenance”. Do you happen to know what else I would need to update to make that change? It isn’t something I’ve had to attempt in the past and can’t claim to understand how the maven builds are “wired” together.

Is looks like my fix for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=471596 does what is needed. However, it appears that the webtools.servertools.git repository doesn’t have a R3_7_maintenance branch yet. It would be easier for me if I can do the dual maintenance for this fix at the same time. Would you be able to see about creating the R3_7_maintenance branch? This will also make it easier for me to start on the Tomcat 9 support for WTP 3.8.
