Re: [wtp-releng] [wtp-dev] Do we need to prepare for Ant 1.8.2 in Indigo?

FWIW, our current I-builds have Ant 1.8.2 in them, via using platform pre-req from I20110215-0800.

http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/wtp-R3.3.0-I/20110222193437/I-3.3.0-20110222193437/

And, it will still be there for this week's Smoke Test ... but ... thought I'd mention it in case anyone wants to take an early look and/or reserve extra time for testing this week, if you use Ant. in WTP.

Please comment in bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=335494 if issues found. Otherwise, after smoke testing this week, I'll assume everything (basic) is fine.

Thanks,

The platform has been updated to consume Ant 1.8.2 as of 2/8/2011, although I would recommend using the I-build from 2/15/2011 as there was an issue found with the Ant editor (bug 336936)

For any problems (performance or otherwise) with Platform Ant support, please open a new bug (Eclipse => Product: Platform, Component: Ant)

Thanks
