Re: [wtp-releng] RE: Problem with 3.2.1 build last night

I have restarted a build.

The latest build failed because of an error during signing. As far as I know, there's nothing any of us could do to cause the problem, just a cosmic ray hitting the hardware, or something ... occasionally, about 1 our of 100 runs, the signing script will prompt for a password! Its supposed to work via the magic of SSH certificates. The webmasters have looked at it, and don't think we are doing anything wrong in our scripts ... just some quirk of timing or network conditions or something that's hard to explain. Often ... if I'm awake ... I can cancel the prompt and the build continues .... in this case, it set there waiting long enough that the whole process timed out.

I'll keep a close eye on this next build.

This next build won't be done until about 3 PM. Sorry for the delay.

The build ran a little longer this time, but still failed.  I no longer see warnings or complaints that appear related to changes I've made, so I'm not sure about the cause of the latest failure.

A typo in a jst-server-component-features.map tag version for last night's 3.2.1 build has been corrected.  It's not obvious to me from the build log if that was the only cause of the failure, but it would seem likely.  The tomcat.core changes shouldn't affect smoke testing, but I can't speak for other changes that occurred after mine last night.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
