Re: [wtp-releng] Exception running Automated Tests

The problem I knew about was the opposite ... unzipping into 'eclipse' directory stopped working for a while. (*)
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=232340

And, using RC2, I can unzip the SDK, and then unzip the test framework into dropins, and it _does_ find the coretestapplication .. it shows these two extra ones, over what's in your list.

org.eclipse.test.coretestapplication
org.eclipse.test.uitestapplication

that's using the windows version,

* I just heard today that some committers on WTP did not know that you could now, once again, unzip stuff into the 'eclipse' directory.
I still usually try not to do that, and our JUnit's on the build machine do not use 'eclipse', they use 'dropins'.

David,
I am getting the same exception with the latest and greatest RC2 build.
So I guess the problem is not completely gone; do you recall the bug number for this issue?
Thanks,
-Tran

I thought so too, but I’ve already the eclipse-test-framework-I20080516-1333.zip included in the testdependency.xml and unzipped in the dropins directory.
I can try on a more recent build.
Thanks,

Looks like you are missing the "Eclipse Testing Framework"? (on same download pages as sdks, etc., usually just a section or two down on the page).

Assuming you are using the latest and greatest, this should work if unzipped to "normal" 'eclipse' directory or 'dropins'.  (Though, there's been bugs in this
area before ... hope it hasn't regressed).

Hi,

I am trying to run the Dali Automated Tests. The JUnit test is returning an error code 13, and the output shows the following exception.
I was wondering which jar am I missing?
Thanks,
