Could you please consider creating a low volume mailing list in the spirit of:

for announcements, releases, milestones, and other noteworthy information concerning Web Tools? The wtp-dev and wtp-pmc lists are far too busy and detailed, and the webtools newsgroup is mostly questions.

The audience would be consumers that don't need all of the project development details, but are in the circles just outside the committers (power users, integrators, early adopters, etc.).
