Subject: [wtp-jsf-dev] Would JSF committers like "top level" modules in CVS?

In WTP, we added module definitions to our CVSROOT/modules file, so that from the CVS Repository Explorer, all modules appear at the "top level" of the tree.

Would JSF like to do the same?

I'd recommend it, as some users like scanning a long list alphabetically, instead of a hierarchy. Plus, some Eclipse functions work better with modules defined
this way (such as correctly finding branches, when using the "Refresh Branches" action).

If so, I can send a note to webmaster to have them added. You can see from current file, they content is a subset of what's in the map files.
So ... your map files are "up to date", right?

This came up recently in the JPA (sub)project so, thought I'd make the same offer to you all in JSF.

BTW, I'd recommend any ant scripts, etc., still use the 'long form" of the name, not the shorter module name, just to
be explicit.

Thanks,
