Hello, At SAP we have been looking
into ways of utilizing and extending the functionality provided by the JSF
Tools project. The features implemented so far are quite valuable.
According to the project features (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jsf/features/project_features.html),
the JSF team plans to provide TLD support (EMF model, registering custom tag
libraries, etc) in the future. At SAP we plan to provide
Tag Library support for custom tag libraries. Therefore, we would like to align
with you regarding developing tools which facilitate the creation of TLD
related artifacts (tag files/handlers, validator, listeners, functions…).
Could you provide us with more details related to this topic? Our long term
objective is to become an active member (contributor) of the
community. The first step will be to identify areas that both we
(@SAP) and JSF Tools consider important and pertinent to their vision. Is
there a regular meeting that we can join and discuss this further? Your comments will be
much appreciated. |
