[wtp-incubator-dev] Vote for Committer status for Holger Voormann has started
|
webtools.incubator Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that David Carver has
nominated Holger Voormann as a Committer on the webtools.incubator project.
The reason given is as follows:
Holger has been providing several outstanding patches and enhancements to
the VEX incbuator project. He has also been working on using the VEX
editor in eclipse RCP applications, and has a desire to see the project
succeed and help it graduate from the incubator. VEX needs some
additional committers to help shepard it along, and Holger will help with
that aspect. He also has contributed to a wide variety of eclipse projects
including help to create the original and current icon set for the Eclipse
XSL tools project, as well as working with other eclipse related projects.
Here is a sample of the bugs he has fixed or provided patches for on the
VEX project:
http://bugs.eclipse.org/283646
http://bugs.eclipse.org/277404
http://bugs.eclipse.org/252628
http://bugs.eclipse.org/251488
If you do a eclipse bugzilla search on his bugzilla email address you will
find further evidence of his eclipse experience and committment.
The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 20 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Holger Voormann must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.
Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):
