[wtp-incubator-dev] Planning for 1.0M5 and future milestones

Doug and Jesper:

I know that both of you have been busy lately, but we only have a few more milestones left to get items in place and ready for graduation. Here is a list of items that are currently targeted for 1.0M5, please review these and let me know if anything needs to change:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=255198%2C259319%2C226245%2C258937%2C259051%2C259575&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=

The current outstanding items are listed here:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&classification=WebTools&product=WTP+Incubator&component=wtp.inc.xsl&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=

I've upped the priority on two of the 1.0M5 targeted bugs/enhancements due to their necessity in getting ready for Galileo. Of the others they are nice to have, and in particular are being requested by potential adopters of XSL Tools.

My own time is going to be limited for the next couple of months as I get ready for some work related conferences, and putting the finishing touches on my XSL Tools and XSLT Tutorial for EclipseCon.

Nitin, please look over the backlog as well, and let us know what should be given priority since I think if XSL Tools graduates this Aprile, we'll end up in the sourceediting component. So I would like to address those critical path items over the next two milestones, so we are basically working on documentation cleanup in M7.

Hope everybody has a good and safe holiday.

Dave
