Re: [wtp-incubator-dev] Status of release review items

I've changed the about files to be the same as the other plugins and kicked off a new build.

There are a couple of Java files without copyright statements, particularly in the xpath plugins. Dave, can you take a look at these when you get a chance, I think you committed them.

Thanks,

Doug

Subject: [wtp-incubator-dev] Status of release review items

Hi all,

I think the release review materials are done ... please proof read and let me know if you see any errors (otherwise, I'll start sending this to parties at EMO, for them to distribute on Wed.).

Doug,

I have checked the about.html files ... especially the one and only one which contains third party material, and it looks fine.

I also noticed the source plugins contain a clause about "source zips". We don't need that and should be removed, ideally.
I suspect you just copied some examples from other parts of WTP?  Let me know if I am mistaken, but during our last WTP release review,
we were asked to remove them, since they are not accurate, exactly, and not required. We didn't do for that release, but said we would in future.
See bug 235430
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=235430

So, I think we should make these clean now. Can you?

Note: I did release a few changes that were in HEAD .. once of these was to release one of the about.html files ... but there were some other changes in one of the doc plugins ... I probably shouldn't have, so I can revert if necessary and let you all release when ready.

Do we have a "schedule" of builds to publish? I suggest we wrap up an M9 build these week, then create an "R build" and only change things after that if absolutely required ... sound right?

Thanks,
