RE: [wtp-dev] DSDP Target Management in Java EE kit?

I think I got the idea from this old post .. .which has some other links.

Just noticed it now, so I am asking the questions…

Is there an article or other resources that talk about using RSE outside the embedded space? Perhaps it’s a positioning issue, but unlike Mylyn, it’s not immediately obvious that RSE has general applicability.

It was last release too ... or do you mean you see something new?

There are functions in RSE  to SSH to remote servers, copy files from workspace to or from a remote machine. These are things that many (or, at least some) web developers do, so seemed like a natural way to include some useful function. (Similarly, we include Mylin, though there's no direct connection to Java EE development, per se).

Just noticed that DSDP Target Management is now included in the Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers and I am curious about the back-story on this. My current understanding of DSDP is that it’s for embedded device developers using C. What is the connection to Java EE development?

Thanks in advance for any info on this.
