The caveat and real lesson to be learned
here is to be very careful in making large fixes so late in the game.  Also,
please remember to run your JUnit tests BEFORE releasing to a build.  We
should never be surprised to see JUnits failing.  In this case, a
regression was entered by the fix for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=193629
. So, the caveat is that we don't anticipate this regression to affect
users and all smoke tests pass, but it does cause a deadlock in our automated
JUnits.  We will either back out said change or make a fix next week
to be sure we have release quality code for RC2.
