That is my understanding as well. It’s
J2EE 1.4, but Java EE 5.0. What that means for situations where you want to
refer to it in a version-agnostic manner is unclear. I think Java EE is
supposed to be the new term, but I haven’t been able to find any docs
documenting terms in a version-agnostic manner.

Has the term been changed for previous versions? i.e.
Are J2EE 1.4 applications now known as JEE 1.4 apps? As far as I can tell from

Since Sun changed the term J2EE in favor of JEE, are there any plans to
sweep through the WTP code-base and change the labels and documentation
accordingly? Should this be on the 2.0 plan?
